Hello. I m Shaira from Philippines. When I was not alive yet, my parents have 2 children. And then when their younger child turned 8 years old, my mother got pregnant. But they said that they didn t have sex. Then my mom said that the doctor told her that it is possible for her to get pregnant although they didn t have sex. But I don t know if she s telling the truth. Is it possible for my mother to get pregnant without having sex? I m so confused. Please answer my question. Thank you.

Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question. I simply want to ask you that how it is possible to be pregnant without fertilizing the ovum and for fertilization sperm is absolutely necessary.
So i would like to enlighten you that its impossible for someone to get pregnant without fertilization of ovum in any ways, either through intercourse or by artificial insemination (procedure to place sperm in vagina or cervix during ovulation).
So don't get confused and be clear in mind that either through intercourse or artificial insemination, only one can become pregnant.
Hope this will remove your doubts in your mind.
